过去的这个周末, the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation hosted its annual 5k Run and 1 Mile Pooch Prance. Students and teachers came to Middleburg early Sunday morning to support the cause.

The Junior Class charity this year is Friends of 首页less Animals. FOHA’s mission is to provide a safe haven for abused and abandoned animals, 提供食物, 避难所, 医疗保健, 康复, and many other things FOHA believes in. This local charity strives to make a difference for abandoned animals. 上个学年, the Junior Class helped FOHA by volunteering on-site to make dog treats and toys. We want to support these animals with 避难所, compassion, and eventually a permanent home.

Dr. 西尔维娅·厄尔, a legendary oceanographer and ocean advocate who holds the record for the deepest walk on the sea floor, has been named the 2023 Alison Harrison Goodyear ’29 Fellow. Dr. Earle will speak to the community about her life experiences and advocacy on Thursday, 3月23日, at 7pm in the Engelhard Gymnasium of the Athletic/Student Center 在特.

Foxcroft is excited to offer a week-long equestrian residential camp 从 June 25-30, 2023, for riders entering the 8th-11th grade in the fall of 2023 and interested in exploring attending 特学校 during their high school years. 这个项目, designed for riders with experience riding at a level of walk-trot-canter or above, was created to further a girl's riding skills while providing her with knowledge of nutritionally sound meal preparation and physical exercise designed for riders.

The Foxcroft community happily spread holiday cheer last weekend. Beginning with reflections on community service and a campus-wide decorating party Friday evening and continuing through Santa’s entrance at the end of the traditional Christmas Pageant on Sunday, it was impossible not to be in the spirit of the season!
